James BigBoy Medlin was a founding writer of the Austin Sun, The L.A. Weekly and E! Entertainment Television. He and fellow Sun and Weekly veteran, Michael Ventura, wrote the rock and roll comedy “Roadie.” Medlin is the author of the novel “Slap Noir.” He denies being chiefly responsible for losing the conflict in Viet Nam.
